Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using Jadwaly, uploading study materials, using AI features, and subscribing to Jadwaly Pro. By creating an account or using Jadwaly, you agree to these terms.

1. The Jadwaly service

Jadwaly is a study workspace for courses, schedules, notes, documents, AI explanations, summaries, quizzes, flashcards, mind maps, and focus tools. We may change, improve, limit, or discontinue a feature when reasonably needed to operate or protect the service.

These are Jadwaly's terms for using the service and app. Apple App Store, Google Play, payment-provider, and device terms may also apply to the platform transaction or device you use.

We handle account information, study content, AI requests, and service data as described in our Privacy Policy. Jadwaly uses Firebase for core app data and authentication, Cloudflare for backend processing, storage, AI, document processing, and search, and selected providers for payments, sign-in, analytics, and related features.

2. Service levels and availability

Jadwaly is a student-focused SaaS study workspace for individual students and personal users. We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but these terms do not provide a guaranteed uptime percentage, response time, service credit, or other service-level commitment unless we agree to one in a separate written agreement.

The service may be unavailable or limited during maintenance, updates, unexpected technical problems, network or device failures, app-store restrictions, outages affecting our service providers, or events outside our reasonable control. Saved or offline features may continue to work locally, but features such as sync, uploads, AI requests, search, and billing may require an internet connection and backend processing. We will provide notice of planned maintenance when reasonably practical.

3. Accounts and security

  • Provide information that is accurate and keep it updated.
  • Keep your sign-in credentials and device secure.
  • Do not share access in a way that bypasses plan limits or puts another person's data at risk.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account was accessed without permission.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it resulted from our failure to use reasonable security measures.

4. Uploads, permissions, and ownership

You keep ownership of the notes, documents, images, questions, and other material you submit (“User Content”). You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use it with Jadwaly.

You give Jadwaly a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, copy, transmit, transform, display, and process User Content only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the features you use. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups or records that must be retained for security, legal, billing, or technical reasons.

Do not upload content that is illegal, stolen, infringing, deceptive, abusive, malicious, or subject to restrictions that you cannot grant us permission to process. In particular, do not upload malware, credentials, payment-card data, personal data you are not authorized to share, sexual content involving minors, or material that facilitates violence, exploitation, or other unlawful activity.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use Jadwaly to:

  • Break the law, violate another person's rights, or evade academic, workplace, or institutional rules.
  • Infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, exploit, or harm another person.
  • Probe, attack, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or interfere with the app, backend, accounts, or security controls.
  • Bypass storage, AI, subscription, rate, or access limits, or resell access without written permission.
  • Use generated material as a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, or emergency advice.

6. Fair use and service protection

Jadwaly's plans include limits and fair-use safeguards so the service remains available to everyone. “Unlimited” features mean unlimited ordinary personal use within reasonable technical and abuse-prevention limits; they do not permit automation, bulk extraction, account sharing, resale, or use that consumes an unreasonable share of the service.

We may slow, restrict, review, or suspend activity that appears automated, abusive, fraudulent, unsafe, or inconsistent with the plan or these terms. We may also preserve limited records needed to investigate abuse or comply with law, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. AI features and generated output

AI features can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. Review explanations, translations, summaries, answers, and study materials before relying on them. Jadwaly AI is a study aid, not a source of professional or emergency advice, and it does not guarantee grades, academic outcomes, or source accuracy.

To provide AI and document features, your prompts, selected context, and uploaded material may be processed by Jadwaly and service providers described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit confidential or regulated information unless you are permitted to have it processed in this way.

8. Plans and subscriptions

Jadwaly offers a free plan and, where available, the following Pro plans: Weekly at $5.99 per week, Monthly at $9.99 per month, and Yearly at $59.99 per year. Jadwaly does not offer a Semester plan. Prices, taxes, currency, limits, and plan availability shown at checkout control the purchase and may vary by country, platform, or payment provider.

The applicable paid plan begins when you complete the purchase and renews automatically for each billing period until cancelled. You must cancel through the store or billing system that processed the purchase. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and does not automatically refund a period that has already started, except where required by law or the applicable provider's policy.

App Store purchases are billed and managed by Apple, Google Play purchases by Google, and web purchases by the displayed web payment provider. Their payment, refund, cancellation, and platform terms may apply in addition to these terms.

If a payment fails, the applicable provider may retry the charge, pause or remove the paid entitlement, or cancel the subscription. You remain responsible for amounts properly charged before cancellation or expiration. We do not promise a grace period unless the provider or checkout expressly shows one.

9. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using Jadwaly and request account deletion through the account deletion page. We may restrict or terminate access if you seriously or repeatedly violate these terms, create risk for users or the service, fail to pay, or if we are legally required to do so.

When a paid subscription is cancelled or payment access ends, Pro access normally continues until the end of the paid period or ends earlier under the applicable store or payment provider's rules. The account may then return to the free plan. Stopping payment does not by itself immediately delete your study data.

For a free-plan account, including an account whose paid access has ended, Jadwaly permanently deletes the account's learning data and stored study materials after 30 consecutive days with no activity. This may include courses, uploaded files, extracted document data, generated study content, previews, search artifacts, and related course files under our control. The deletion may be irreversible, so keep copies of anything you need. Account, security, billing, legal, backup, or diagnostic records may be retained for a limited period when needed for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

If we suspend or terminate access for reasons within our control, we will provide notice when practical. Sections that by their nature should continue—including ownership, acceptable use consequences, deletion obligations, disclaimers, and limits of liability—remain effective after termination.

10. Disclaimers and limits

Jadwaly is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. You are responsible for keeping copies of important User Content and checking AI output before relying on it.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jadwaly and Nagakiba will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit losses arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits rights that applicable law gives you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service, law, or safety requirements change. We will post the updated version at this URL and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide notice where reasonably practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
